What’s on at the Corner???

Our numbers may be lower than usual but the learning and the action has not slowed down.
We welcome Indie (Fletcher’s sister), Fergus, Khloe, Lux and their families to our Pukeko whanau. Also welcome back the Clark family with Chloe, and the Jenkin’s family with Bria. It’s great to have you here!!

Kia ora whanau and welcome back for a brand new year! We hope that you all had a very merry holiday and are ready for another exciting year.

We are over three quarters of the way through our final term here at kindy already. The sun is beaming, the wind seems to have finally gone to sleep, the birds are chirping and life is a sunny breeze!! A warm welcome to Tamara Meyer-Cathy’s daughter, Addison Sherriff-Tayla’s sister and Pabi Sandhar.

Welcome back to our final term for the year!! This year has gone by so fast!!! We would like to welcome Jamie Symes, Oakley Brown and Blake Stevens to our wonderful kindergarten.
What’s going on at the Corner???
Our 5th birthday celebration was an absolute blast!! Thank you for all coming and enjoying our day of fun. A special thanks to the teachers who worked tirelessly all day to ensure fun was had inside and outside.

We have three weeks to go until our 3rd term break!!!! We have been extremely busy this term, and I’m sure you are all looking forward to a little bit of time with your children at home.

Welcome back to a new term!! I hope your feeling nicely refreshed and ready to roll out some new adventures, some new friendships and continue with our unlimited learning opportunities.
What’s going on at the Corner???
Our Matariki celebration at the end of last term was a wonderful success. Thank you all who made our wonderful food.

Only three weeks to go until the end of another term! We cannot believe how quickly time flies when your having masses of fun.
We said teary goodbyes to many many children over the past few weeks. Daniel, James, Zsalea went on to Pahioa school. Dylan went on to be home schooled, and Tom is attending Katikati Primary. We said goodbye and good luck to Connor, Cullum and Ella. We wish all these children a big blessing and the best for their futures.

Welcome to the start of our new term!! We welcome back some children who had extended holidays and new children to our whanau. Soon we say goodbye to Daniel and James to Pahoia, and Tom is heading for Kati Primary.

We are already half way through the term! We have welcomed so many new families which have joined us here in our special place, and we have seen a few children off to school with pride.

Welcome back to Glorious Kindy. I hope you are all fresh and rested after the christmas break, and are ready to send your children back to us for more summer fun and learning!!!

Term 3
After a very busy 3rd term, we are ready to go, go, go!!! We only have 8 weeks of this term before we head off for the big break!! Your teachers are rested and ready to face a trip to Lexham park, designing and making our christmas float and practising and performing our christmas concert and party!!! PHEW

Term 3. I hope you are all rested and ready to send your children back to us!! We start this term off with a frosty start with plenty of sun. We are ready to tackle the next 12 weeks with pure energy and vitality, despite Jack Frost gracing us with his presence.

Dear Whanau,
WOW, we have had such a busy term!!! Our healthy eating, healthy bodies learning is ever present. We have made masses of our own sandwiches, made countless loaves of bread, litres of pure vege and fruit juice, a few kilos of vege soup, and planted crops to harvest early spring!!! We supported our first 15 rugby team and community by braving the weather and attending the big event!! Our disco was a huge success with many families joining our boogie night.

Our Theme — Healthy food, healthy bodies
This term will be a heavy focus on healthy food, healthy choices and healthy bodies. In the past we have always recommended and encouraged healthy eating, but it seems it’s been a while since it has become our main focus. The timing couldn’t be better as this is the term that is dark and cold and hot vege soup is a very welcome thought. Getting active inside is a challenge that we look forward to as well.

Our Theme—What did you do in the holidays? (holiday posters)
Welcome back to Kindy. I hope you all had a wonderful time with your children, family, friends and neighbours over the Christmas and new year break and are ready for them to return to us here at Pukeko. This term we have had many new families join us. A few started in the final weeks last of year with many more starting within recent weeks.

Kia ora our wonderful whanau. The weather is finally here. The birds are singing, the gardens are growing and the skies are a brilliant blue. Its that time again where we have sun hats, sun screen, sun glasses and sun fun. Please ensure your child comes with sunblock in the morning and a sun hat. We will sunblock just after lunch (our sunblock is all natural products), however if your child has specific needs please see us about this.

Kia Ora Whanau, well what a term this has been with many changes. Cathy is soon to enjoy the experience of Motherhood, Gina and Jody adjust to their new roles, Kim settles into her teaching position and it’s party time again as we celebrate another year of success in our quest to offer high quality care and education!

Hello Pukeko corner whanau!!! We hope that the weather stays fine for longer this time round.
Firstly we would like to say a GREAT BIG WELCOME to Daniel Carter to our Pukeko family of learners.
BOO HOO.... Jamil, Niamh, Olivia Boyd, and Grace have all graduated to school. We know all these children are well tooled for their new learning journey. We wish them all the best in their primary schools.
